New Hampshire Drivers: Effect of New York Traffic Ticket Convictions

If you receive a traffic conviction in New York State, New Hampshire will be notified of the offense as both states are members of the Driver License Compact.

Violations from other states will be added to your New Hampshire driving record. If you are an New Hampshire driver and want to obtain a copy of your driving record, you may do so here.

Insurance Premium Increases
Most importantly, it is likely your insurance company will learn of your New York conviction and may increase your premiums or drop coverage. It remains important to mitigate the charge as much as possible.
